Knowing Jesus is about knowing that you have been saved by the grace of God and you are on the road to heaven. Every person needs to know Jesus in order to escape the punishment and penalty of his or her sins.

Jesus tells us in the third chapter of John’s gospel that in God’s sight, we stand condemned by our sin until we believe in Jesus as our Savior and experience the new birth, that spiritual birth that happens when we repent of our sins and accept Jesus.

Therefore, if we are to be forgiven and acquitted in God’s sight, we must know Jesus as our Savior. God loves you and Jesus will save you if you will only trust Him.
